FIRST AID • A selection of projects designed for International Day of Nursing. It is held each year on 12th May (Florence Nightingale’s birthday), to celebrate the contribution nurses make to society.

Early Years Science • We asked Sophia Mitchell, founder of LabTots, to give us an insight as to the importance of incorporating science activities in your early years settings to help empower future generations.

HOLI • Create a colourful window banner to celebrate the Hindu festival of Holi, which this year is on the 28-29 March

Paper Ageing • Learn how to age paper to create an old looking letter, invitation or treasure map!

ART THERAPY AND SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS • Special educational needs and disabilities can affect a child’s ability to learn. This can affect behaviour, ability to socialise, and concentration. Art is healing and meditative for children and teachers. It is inspiring and allows a different kind of space for free and creative expression.

Brilliant balloons • Balloons are great to play with and for expirements. Take a big breath in and blow into your balloon to fill it with air. Then try these tricks.
